A lot has happened since April.
I am now swimming in parts. The engine, firewall forward kit, avionics, wiring, landing gear and big pieces of fiberglass.
The good news is that it is all fitting together nicely and the RV-14A build is coming along nicely. I'm targeting the end of September to move to the airport with a first flight anytime about 3 to 4 weeks after that. November 2016?
I put it in writing so it is unlikely to occur. I just got back from Airventure which always help to push the work output so maybe I'll make it.
In Sonex news, my Sonex was out of commission for about a month so I didn't fly it to Airventure. The first time in five years I didn't fly in. Kathy and I drove up on Tuesday and also attended on Wednesday. Had a grand time as usual.
The Sonex was down because the little trigger magnet in the secondary ignition system flew out of its hole. My repair did not work so I had to get a new one and then had to retime the ignition. It takes several flights to get it right and I did not have it done in time to fly up.
Back to work on the 14.
